FARO full complement single row cylindrical roller bearings are available in three different shapes:
NCF and NC (which differ only for ribs on the outer ring), and NJG.

The most popular one is the NCF shape.

NCF have one rib integral with the outer ring, to function as an axial guide in one direction. On the other side a special stop ring is introduced; this way the bearing cannot be taken apart because the inner ring is not sliding as regards to outside. The amount of possible axial movement between the integral rib and the stop ring, is indicated in the tables.

The NC types on one side of the outer ring have an integral rib, and on the other side a shoulder ring is inserted. They can carry axial load in both directions and can be used to axially lock the shaft on both sides.

Contrary to other full complement roller bearings, the NJC can be taken apart. The outer ring, with two integral ribs and roller, can be slid on from the inner ring (which has one rib only). This process makes easy the assembling and disassembling operations, particularly in those cases which, for both rings, a press fit is required.

The rollers between the ribs of the outer ring do not fall out; therefore, during the assembling and disassembling of the inner ring from outer ring, it is not necessary to follow particular precautions to prevent the rollers to fall out.

NJG bearings are particularly suitable for applications with very high loads and low speed.

They can withstand thrust load in one direction and axially guide the shaft on one side.
