FARO department of checking material and inspection is organized like this:

Inspection division
The first division with possible collaboration of an external laboratory, makes inspections on incoming material, which are:
Distructive tests with execution of micrografy, macrografy and check of material chemical composition.
Not distructive tests through ultrasounds, penetrants and hardness microtests and magnaflux tests.
The second division makes dimensional and geometrical check (for variables in conformity with statistical control process) . Besides, verifies the assembling of units and informs the Technical Department about possible incoherences. The calibration of measure instruments is made in testing room with constant temperature of 20 degrees.
Structural check on finished elements FARO can supply to the customers a check service on finished elements of the bearings structure in order to analyze the tensional state of a component on the basis of a certain load. The check can be made both during planning period and during testing phase
