Faro operating structure is regulated through an org-board, which highlights responsibility for each departments. This system is supported by a quality manual which pointed out all the procedures that have to be defined for each cycle sequence. All the documents referring to an order ( raw material certificate of origin, test and auto test document, final approval….)are recorded for a period of 5 years.
Suppliers approval
The company has a special system to control suppliers and the incoming material. This system is based on the proceeding shown in the Quality Manual.
Certifications
In 2003 FARO decided to adopt a centralized plant for the treatment of lubrirefrigerating fluid and for the elimination of grinding mud. This plant was one of the steps that allowed FARO to certificate his system of environmental management, complying with ISO specification 14001.
