| In the early 80's, Faro Industriale S.p.A. was founded as a commercial organization. In 1984, Faro Industriale S.p.A. and a second company operating in the same field, combined forces and incorporated to begin production of special bearings. A new ownership and a management change in 1989 introduced fresh working capital to the company, thus starting Faro Industriale S.p.A. expansion plans: the new mission was to reinvest company profits to purchase new machinery, related manufacturing control equipments and dedicated human resources. In 1995, due to an ever increasing market demand, an independent company specialized in the optimization of the manufacturing process was acquired, allowing Faro Industriale S.p.A. to double its sales turnover. Over the same period of time, an investment program was launched to completely upgrade production machinery with state-of-the art mechanical and electronic equipment. In 1997, the company's working capital was doubled in order to internally finance the building of a new modern factory, which has been realised with a huge attention to the company skilful. The manufacturer and control departments cover a surface of 4000 sm and they are linked to the offices which are on two stages. In 2003, Faro Industriale S.p.A. and INDI S.r.l. became one structure. In 2005, ISO 14001 certification was achieved. In 2006, we have celebrated our 25th Anniversary... and in the next future... In the latest years Faro has been canalizing its interests towards much more specialized markets because of the investment done both in production and quality control departments. |
